The Werewolf, Edited by Ankita Suri

During my time at a Label called Asa Kazingmei I worked mostly with leather (Cow, sheep or goat skin). With my cursor and paint brush, I wanted to create a grunge, street look with leather. The below sketch was the basic idea behind this look.

Rough Sketch

With a simple notch lapel, I decided to use the zippers to add the complete metal grunge look. Silver YKK zippers customized with the label name added further to the look. The zippers on the sleeve was a detail I wanted to add to make it more youthful and also to make it stand apart from the rest of the biker leather jackets. The leather strap hanging from the side pocket zipper made the look more street and urban.

To further add to the design, I decided to paint and was thoroughly supported by the head designer. After a few options we shortlisted it to a wolf growling to give a ferocious and powerful aura. The entire process was fun and filled with excitement.

Lineart for the artwork

The colors were a task to choose, as we wanted the wolf to be the main hero while looking powerful. We shortlisted to highlighting the scar, the eyes and the mouth with shades of yellow and red.

The show was a beautiful roller coaster filled with a rush of adrenaline and excitement. The response to my wolf was overwhelming. Bollywood Actor, Arjun Kapoor sported the look was styled by Nikita Jaisinghani and photographed by Sheldon Santos
